“He conquered the hills, piece by piece!” reads the tagline to Bethel G. Buckalew’s sexploitation film Tobacco Roody (1970). It marked hot Debbie Osborne‘s first appearance in the warm, mosquito-attracting glow of the drive-in theater. Not surprisingly, Debbie appeared in several states of undress in that particular feature. Ol’ Buckalew must have enjoyed what he saw because he cast her in his sexy Country Cuzzins (1970) and Midnight Plowboy (1971). Both films again featured the comely young kitten in all her light-auburn-haired full-frontal glory . . . all nicely trimmed, combed, and parted in the middle, ready for company to come and play as they most often did in steamy simulated sex scenes. As if Buckalew hadn’t served up enough chances for little Debbie to strut her sweet stuff onscreen, equally notable smut servers Robert Anderson and Corey Allen gave her some skin time in Cindy and Donna (1970) and The Erotic Adventures of Pinocchio (1971), respectively. Unfortunately, that just about rounded out Debbie’s career, which has been on “vacation” since 1972.
